Mobile Home Park Manager/ Maintenance Supervisor
A California based professional property management company is currently seeking an experienced full-time Mobile Home Park Manager and a Maintenance Supervisor for a 150+ space park in the Salinas area. The right candidates must be motivated with a positive attitude and self-starters that can work independently and part as a team. Our vision for the successful candidates are individuals with strong customer service & people skills, great attitude, Mobile Home Residency Law and Title 25 experience.
Job Requirements for Positions:
• Valid driver’s license and insured operable vehicle
• Experience in Mobile Home Parks
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in
English
• A keen eye for details
• Great with customers
• The ability to follow-up and follow through with assigned
tasks
• Reliable, meet deadlines, and team player
Managers Duties and Responsibilities:
• Mobile home space leasing
• Application process
• Bank deposits and monthly rent collections
• Maintaining weekly and monthly reports
• Provides excellent customer service to prospective and current
residents and promotes a quality living experience for all
residents
• Inspects grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness and alerts
regional manager of items that need to be repaired
• Scheduling and communicating with vendors and contractors
• Obtain bids from outside contractors
• Participates in Company-provided training such as WMA, fair
housing, safety, non-discrimination, harassment prevention and
position-specific training
• Complies with all applicable health and safety rules and
regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws
Maintenance Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Directs in all aspects of property maintenance, including
preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance
• Supervise vendors
• Electrical knowledge
• Perform service requests for property concerns
• Pool certified a plus or required to obtain certification
• On-call service for after-hours emergencies
• Participate in the competitive bid process for all property
needs
• Audit and maintains accurate inventory on a bi-monthly basis
including control of tools, equipment, and supplies
• Purchasing maintenance supplies for the property while staying
within the planned budget
• Intermediate to advanced electrical & gas meter knowledge
• Landscape and irrigation knowledge
• Intermediate to advanced plumbing abilities
• Continuously update all maintenance and repair logs
• Other duties as requested by Community Director and Regional
Manager
Applicants will not be considered unless they meet the following
criteria:
• Applicants must have Mobile Home Park Management
Experience.
• Applicants must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing
in English.
• Applicants must have reliable transportation.
• Maintenance applicants must be willing and able to work
overtime for emergency calls.
• Community Director applicants must live On-Site. Housing
provided.
• Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and driver’s
insurance.
