Before his appointment as Executive Director in early 2022, Doug Johnson was WMA’s Senior Regional Representative for the Northern California and Bay Area regions. He joined WMA’s Local Government team in 1994, after serving on the staffs of four federal, state and county elected representatives. Doug was born and raised in Los Angeles and is a graduate of the University of Southern California. He currently resides in the Sacramento area.
