The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) is pleased to announce the recently adopted regulatory amendments to Title 25, California Code of Regulations, Division 1, affecting Chapters 1, 2, and 2.2.

These amendments revise definitions, enforcement procedures, permitting requirements, construction standards, and health and safety provisions applicable to Employee Housing, Mobilehome Parks, and Special Occupancy Parks. All changes became effective on July 15, 2026.

The adopted regulatory amendments can be found within California Code of Regulations, Title 25, Division 1, Chapters 1, 2, and 2.2.
