Thanks to the WMA-sponsored bill AB 391 (Rodriguez) — also known as the Paper Reduction Bill — mobilehome park residents will have the option to receive their annual copy of the Mobilehome Residency Law (MRL) electronically beginning January 1, 2026.

Residents who choose the electronic option will no longer receive a printed hard copy from park management, helping to reduce paper use and streamline the distribution process. However, residents may still request a physical copy of the MRL, which must be provided upon request.
