Information Bulletin 2023-02 is issued pursuant to Health and Safety Code section 17913 to provide notice to local enforcing agencies, third-party agencies, and interested parties of code changes detailed in the 2022 California Building Standards Code Supplement, effective July 1, 2024.

Additionally, it provides clarifications regarding the applicability of these code changes to factory-built housing, commercial modulars, special purpose commercial modulars, and specified structures in mobilehome parks and special occupancy parks.
