Exciting news to share! AB 2895 (Quirk-Silva) was held in the Senate Judiciary Committee early Tuesday. We have been tirelessly working to defeat AB 2895 (Quirk-Silva, D-Orange County), which would have imposed rent control statewide on mobilehome parks in California. 

Our work and the work of our members made this outcome possible. WMA’s lobbying team will remain watchful and will not rest until August 31; however, unless the author obtains a rule waiver, this bill is dead for the year.

This is a significant win and we could not have done it without the help of our members.
