Topic:  Earthquake Probability; Are you Prepared?  As park managers and owners, are you prepared for an earthquake?  Will you be able to help your residents?  What about water supplies?  What about medical supplies?  What about resident information?  What about your residents?  Do they know about safety measures?

This program will be guided by Grecian Isle Management.  We all know that the Antelope Valley is susceptible to earthquakes and that the San Andreas fault runs right through the area.  But, what preparations has your park made in case of a devastating earthquake.  Do you have things on the walls that could fall over and hurt someone?  Do you have a safe way to protect your resident files?  What about water?  What about food?  What about electricity?  What about phone service?  What about your residents?  Do they know what to do if there is a major earthquake?  Is there something out there for our residents to let them know the unique situations associated with living in a mobilehome park?  We hope you will join us to discuss the special characteristics of mobilehome parks and earthquake disasters.

Local meetings allow great networking for issues involving particular cities or regions.  This is your opportunity to share information, to ask for suggestions about problem issues, to ask for recommendations for repairmen or employees and any other concerns a park manager or owner might have.  You just might get some great suggestions to help you solve your problem!  Your needs may be answered without going to the yellow pages!  Get recommendations from friends in the industry in your local area.  Come to our meetings and get to know your park “neighbors”.
