Topic: Earthquake Preparedness Workshop
With all the earthquake activity in our area recently, it is time
for us to review park plans, and encourage our residents to take
action to
protect their homes from disaster. Ridgecrest has given us an
opportunity to see first-hand what can happen, what the issues
were for the homes, and what can be done to help with recovery.
The Randall Manufactured Homes Team has been doing recovery work
and will share with us their insights and observations.
The Randall Manufactured Homes Team has been working in
Ridgecrest to help with mobilehome recovery. Dangerous
situations and hazardous issues have arisen. Issues regarding
earthquake supports and other
problems are being addressed. The normal procedure to follow in
an earthquake does not apply to mobilehomes. The drop and cover
rule could be very dangerous. Let’s come together and discuss
what we
know and what we have learned so that we can share it with
others. Kyle Pflum, General Manager of Randall Manufactured Homes
will share with us their input from these recent earthquakes and
will give us additional
insight that we can pass along to our residents. Hope you can
join us for a very lively and informative talk.

Local meetings allow great networking for issues involving
particular cities or regions. This is your opportunity to share
information, to ask for suggestions about problem issues, to ask
for recommendations for
repairmen or employees and any other concerns a park manager or
owner might have. You just might get some great suggestions to
help you solve your problems! Your needs may be answered without
going to the
yellow pages! Get recommendations from friends in the industry in
your local area. Come to our meetings and get to know your park
“neighbors”.
