Attention Master-Metered
Electric Systems in PG&E Territory-PG&E Rate Case Decision
Significantly Reduces the Discount on Electric Rates
California Public Utilities
Commission (CPUC) Decision (R.11-02-018) regarding master-metered
utility systems.
WMA has been involved in this proceeding from the
beginning and has been working with the CPUC to develop a process to
allow for the voluntary relinquishment of your utility systems to the
serving utility. GSMOL has also been involved in the proceeding since
the initial workshop and a party to the proceeding. This notice to
residents of the rulemaking proceeding is a beginning step to keep the
proceeding moving along. WMA's utility advisors have drafted the
following letter which you may attach to the resident notice from the
serving utility to help your residents better understand the rulemaking
process. The Rulemaking is in its very beginning phase and this notice
is the first step in this CPUC proceeding which will probably take a
year or two to reach conclusion.
