Established in 2005, the WMA Foundation is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation, established for the purpose of enriching the quality of life for all persons living in manufactured housing communities in California who are disadvantaged due to income or circumstance. The WMA Foundation will serve its purpose by sponsoring educational seminars, providing financial assistance for the improvement, restoration or replacement of existing manufactured homes, disseminating informational materials, and by providing community outreach services.

The Foundation's first effort was to establish a fund to assist communities and residents in need; the goal was to be able to respond to dire situations where there is no other source of support for our residents despaired by fire, earthquake, flood, or other disasters.  After raising $20,000 through generous contributions given by a small number of community owners, the disaster fund is now up and running.  Recently, due to several well-timed contributions, we were able to donate funds to residents who were devastated by fire in their homes.

Please help us build the strength of WMA Foundation's disaster fund by sending a generous contribution. WMA Foundation is approved by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization; therefore your contribution is completely tax deductible.  Call WMA at 916-448-7002 to find out how you can contribute to the WMA Foundation.

Nancy Bingham lost her mobilehome due to an electrical fire in December 2006.  In addition to receiving assistance from the WMA Foundation, the Sigrist family presented Nancy with the key to her new home on March 9, 2007.
